Display & theme

Goal​

Make app readable and pleasant on phone, tablet and Android.

For whom​

All parents; optionally per child.

Where in the app​

/parent/settings → Display & theme.

Prerequisites​

Signed in as parent.

Step by step​

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Section Display & theme: pick Light, Dark, Gray or System — changes apply immediately.
  3. Per child: under Display on child device pick the same theme and tap Save display.
  4. Pick language NL/EN/DE/FR for the parent UI (separate section).
  5. Child tablet: sign out and back in if the theme does not switch right away.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Dark theme saves battery on OLED screens. Gray is a soft light mode.
