Emergency contacts

Goal​

Make help quickly reachable on the child tablet.

For whom​

Parents setting a safety net for the child.

Where in the app​

/parent/settings → Emergency contacts; child sees on /child → Help & emergency.

Prerequisites​

Active child selected.

Step by step​

  1. Open /parent/settings → Emergency contacts.
  2. Add contact: label (Mom, Dad, Grandma) + phone number.
  3. Order determines display on child screen.
  4. Optional: photo/icon per contact.
  5. Save — child sees buttons on /child → Help & emergency.
  6. On Android tap opens dialer with number (OS permission).
  7. Update numbers when moving or new device.

Options & settings​

Emergency contacts do not replace 112/911 — teach child when to call emergency services.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Test with child: tap contact and verify correct number appears.
