Delete account

Goal​

GDPR/privacy: close account when you no longer use Routine Assist.

For whom​

Parents leaving the app permanently.

Where in the app​

/parent/settings → Delete account (bottom, confirmation required).

Prerequisites​

Account access; understanding action is irreversible.

Step by step​

  1. Open /parent/settings → scroll to Delete account.
  2. Export templates first via Export & import if desired.
  3. Read what data is deleted (children, calendar, chat, history).
  4. Enter password or confirmation text as requested.
  5. Confirm permanent deletion.
  6. You are signed out; login with same email fails afterward.
  7. Co-parents may keep copies of shared data on their account if applicable.

Options & settings​

Child tablet may show offline data until cache expires — sign out and remove app.

Tips & troubleshooting​

If unsure: export + change password instead of immediate deletion.
