Switch child

Goal​

Always work in the context of the correct child — avoids planning on the wrong profile.

For whom​

Parents with multiple children on one account.

Where in the app​

Child picker at top on /parent, /parent/calendar, /parent/free-tasks and other parent routes.

Prerequisites​

At least two children added under Manage children.

Step by step​

  1. Open a parent page, e.g. /parent or /parent/calendar.
  2. Tap the child picker (avatar + name) in the header.
  3. Select the other child from the list.
  4. The page reloads data for that child: calendar, rewards, history.
  5. Visually confirm name/avatar before making changes.
  6. Free tasks and templates are per child — switching resets context.
  7. Child mode (/child) picks profile at login; parent mode uses this picker.

Options & settings​

Caregivers with limited rights may not see all children.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Use different avatar colors per child so switching is obvious at a glance.
