Goal​

Native iOS app with sync, timers and push on iPhone/iPad.

For whom​

Parents who want Routine Assist on Apple devices.

Where in the app​

TestFlight invite or App Store link; production points to routineassist.com.

Prerequisites​

iPhone/iPad with iOS 15+; TestFlight app or App Store access.

Step by step​

  1. Receive TestFlight invite from admin or find Routine Assist on the App Store.
  2. Install the app; open — API points to https://routineassist.com.
  3. Allow notifications when prompted (timers and chat).
  4. Sign in as parent or child (same flow as web).
  5. Pin the app on the child home screen for quick access.
  6. For developers: npm run ios:prod runs build + cap sync ios.

Options & settings​

Browser and app can run in parallel — same account data.

Tips & troubleshooting​

After each UI release on Mac: npm run ios:prod before new TestFlight build.
