What is Routine Assist?
Goal
Understand what Routine Assist does: parent planning, child view, rewards — and our direction toward schools and institutions.
For whom
Parents, co-parents, caregivers; schools and care institutions interested in co-development.
Where in the app
Web and Android at routineassist.com. Sign in at /login. Parents start at /parent, children at /child after login.
Prerequisites
No account needed to read; for use you need a modern browser or the Android app.
Step by step
- Routine Assist combines a parent calendar (planning per child) with a child screen (today and rewards only).
- Parents set tasks, subtasks, timers, icons and rewards; children check off without changing the plan.
- Multiple children per account; switch via dashboard or child picker.
- Co-parents get access via invite (/uitnodiging); friends and chat use a separate flow (/vriend-uitnodiging).
- Templates (blueprints) and weekly rules save time on recurring schedules.
- History and weekly PDFs show progress; settings manage theme, notifications and privacy.
- The Android app (Capacitor) syncs to the same server; children can work offline where supported.
- Many families use the visual today view and ARASAAC pictograms for predictable structure (including autism/ASD) — see routineassist.com/oplossingen/autisme-dagstructuur.
