Child login

Goal​

Give safe access to the child view without a separate password per child (except logout code).

For whom​

Children (with parent help) and parents testing the child account.

Where in the app​

Home / → sign in with parent email + password → child picker → /child.

Prerequisites​

At least one child added to the account; parent knows email and password.

Step by step​

  1. Open routineassist.com or the Android app on the child’s device.
  2. Choose Sign in (not register).
  3. Enter the parent’s email and parent password.
  4. After successful login the child picker shows avatars/names.
  5. The child taps their profile.
  6. You land on the child dashboard /child — today’s tasks, timers and rewards only.
  7. The child cannot open the parent calendar or settings.
  8. Sign out: usually via parent, or with logout code if configured.

Options & settings​

On a shared tablet: parent signs out after use or sets a logout code. Android app supports the same flow.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Only share the parent password intentionally if the child must sign in alone. Forgot password: /wachtwoord-vergeten.
