Today & tasks — Screen example

Goal​

Child checks off tasks without changing the plan.

For whom​

Children after child login; parents testing child mode.

Where in the app​

Route /child — default after profile pick.

Prerequisites​

Child signed in via parent email + password + profile.

Step by step​

  1. Child signs in (see Child login).
  2. Today screen shows tasks in order with icons.
  3. Tap task or subtask to check off — checkmark and optional animation.
  4. Completed tasks may award stars (if parent configured).
  5. No access to other days or settings.
  6. Pull-to-refresh or reopen app to sync parent changes.
  7. Parent sees progress in History and dashboard.

Options & settings​

Free tasks also appear today if still open.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Use large icons in parent calendar — child reads little.
