Goal​

Shared tablet: end child session after use.

For whom​

Children on shared devices; parents who set logout code.

Where in the app​

/child → menu Sign out → enter code.

Prerequisites​

Logout code set under Manage children.

Step by step​

  1. Parent sets logout code per child (/parent/settings).
  2. Child opens /child menu → Sign out.
  3. Enter PIN/code — no parent password needed.
  4. On success: back to login / child picker.
  5. Wrong code: limited attempts, then wait.
  6. Parent can reset code in Manage children.
  7. Without code: only parent can sign out with password.

Options & settings​

Short PIN (4 digits) easier for child — balance security on shared device.

Practice sign-out with child — prevents panic on school tablet.
