Child can ask for help without opening settings.

/child → Help & emergency.

Prerequisites​

Parent configured Emergency contacts.

Step by step​

  1. Open /child → Help & emergency.
  2. Large buttons per contact (Mom, Dad, etc.).
  3. Tap contact — phone app opens with number (Android/iOS).
  4. Child does not need to memorize number.
  5. No password needed for this screen.
  6. Parent maintains numbers under Emergency contacts.
  7. Teach child when to call 112/911 vs family.

Options & settings​

SIM-less tablet: button may not open FaceTime/WhatsApp unless integrated.

Tips & troubleshooting​

Keep tablet charger near bed — child can find help at night if allowed.
